Custom Oil Tanks
Peterson can produce oil tanks for your special application. We have produced tanks for racing teams around the world, as well as, OEMs, supercar builders, military, industrial companies, and aerospace companies. We work off of your drawings while also consulting you on what would be best for oil control and supply.
Custom Tank Ordering
Ordering a custom tank from Peterson is an easy process and we can build something that will fit your project in both shape and oil storage needs. We have a wide variety of bungs that can be installed including fittings for heaters, temp probes and sight glasses. We also have the choice of different caps and AN and Wiggins fittings.
1. Call our tech department at (800) 926-7867 and speak with one of our sales people about your project. Make sure to have available your engines oil needs, dimensions of the space available, type of racing you will be involved in including length of events, and size of lines to and from the oil pump. We have a custom tank order form available by choosing your diameter of tank below.
2. Our salesperson will then take the information and have a CAD drawing done which we will then fax to you for you to sign off on. Please make sure the drawing is exactly what you need as once the tank is created it cannot be returned.
3. Once we recieve the signed fax back it will be taken to our fab department and the tank will be created. Custom tanks typically take 1-3 weeks depending on time of year with January through July being the busy time of year.
