Wide-VAC™ Single Stage Wet Sump Pump/Vacuum Pump

Peterson's Wide-Vac oil pump incorporates our race proven Wet Vac oil pump design with a wider vacuum section. This pump provides an external wet sump pump that incorporates a vacuum section which allows the engine builder to pull vacuum in the crankcase.

Our Wet Sump Pumps are built around our Patent Pending 4 lobe rotor whcih provides excellent oil pressure and flow in excess of 30 GPM on the High Volume pump for the highest need motors.

1.800” Scavenge Rotors


The 1.8" scavenge rotors can improve vacuum numbers over the 1.4" if the room is available. The extra vacuum is especially beneficial if the engine has power adders such as a supercharger or turbo.

2.400” Scavenge Rotors


2.400" scavenge are for those looking for the ultimate in vacuum on large bore engines. Works great on ProMod style motors up to 900 cu in with 5" or 5.3" bore spacing. Pump does not fit on motors with filter pad. Proven 19 in of vacuum on 855 cu in motor with this pump alone.

Our 7" drag tank has been proven by Kurt and Warren Johnson to provide excellent oil control and absolutely no blowing oil. It features our race proven tank design with an integrated NHRA legal catch can or (2) -12 AN fittings for an external can. Also includes a heater bung for an immersion style heater and our large billet aluminum cap. Uses 08-0102 brackets. 16" over all height

Peterson can produce oil tanks for your special application. We have produced tanks for racing teams around the world, as well as, OEMs, supercar builders, military, industrial companies, and aerospace companies. We work off of your drawings while also consulting you on what would be best for oil control and supply.

Remote Breather Cans

Peterson remote breather cans with internal baffeling are excellent when breathing your dry sump tank to atmosphere or running a vacuum system.
